Reaper’s Image Productions will be filming additional scenes for “Fairview” on June 27, 2024. Film crews will be working between two locations on June 27 (both at private residences):
Knoxville Road – Private ResidenceFilming activities at a private residence on Knoxville Road are not expected to impact the public.

Canada Day Closures

Residents are reminded that municipal administrative buildings, recreation facilities, the Port Hope Public Library branches, and the Hope Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024 for the Canada Day holiday. All municipal staff services will resume at their usual operating hours on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Watermain Repair – Cavan Street Closure

Cavan Street (north of Highland Drive) will be closed on Friday, June 21 to accommodate repairs to a broken watermain. The repair is expected to last one day, but due to the complexities of working on aging infrastructure, any extended closure will be promptly communicated.
Notification of this closure has been sent to Port Hope High School and STSCO. Additionally, the closure of the Jack Burger Sports Complex pools for maintenance means minimal impact is expected on that facility.
